A lot has changed since the days I graduated cum laude from Hobart William Smith Colleges. Nowadays, after joingning Trinity's College Dublin Master's Program in Development Practice, and chairing over my own transportation company, I no longer travel across Africa, the likes of Senegal and Gambia just for fun anymore. These days, after meeting both president Mary Robinson, and Michael Higgins, I have been influenced more and more to see the world differently. Now, in Ethiopia, conducting research with women farmers, I simply look to gain insight on how others live and cultivate a give and take relationship with the local, and maybe even better their living conditions.
